As WT’s operations primarily consist of office work and warehousing logistics, water demand is straightforward, mainly for air conditioning circulation and employee domestic use. All water is sourced from the local water utility companies (freshwater) at each operating location and discharged into the sewage system through building wastewater pipelines, causing no significant impact on water source ecosystems. To safeguard employees’ drinking water safety, we replace water dispenser filters on a monthly basis and commission third-party testing by SGS to ensure drinking water meets health and safety standards.
In terms of risk management, according to the World Resources Institute (WRI) Aqueduct Water Risk Atlas, operating sites in China including Shenyang, Beijing, Xi’an, and Ningbo are located in Very High / High water stress areas. These sites are all commercial office premises where water demand is primarily for employees’ daily domestic use and does not involve process water or large-volume water withdrawal, thus not imposing a significant water withdrawal or consumption burden on local water resources. The Group will continue to monitor changes in water resource risks and promote office water conservation measures and employee awareness to fulfill its corporate water management responsibility.
Additionally, the Group has set a management target of reducing water consumption by 1% annually. Based on the 2025 inventory, total water consumption at the aforementioned sites was approximately 108.79 megaliters (ML). As the 2025 statistical boundary newly incorporated operating sites in the U.S. and Canada (totaling approximately 87.93 ML, accounting for 80.8% of total water consumption), overall water consumption increased substantially compared to 2024 (23.62 ML). Excluding the newly added boundary, water consumption at the original sites was approximately 20.90 ML, a decrease of approximately 11.5% compared to 2024, continuing to fulfill our responsibility toward environmental resources through various water conservation measures.

Note 1: The 2025 statistical boundary covers operating sites in Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, and South Korea. Water charges at some offices are included in management fees and are not billed separately, making it impossible to reasonably calculate actual water consumption. As these account for an extremely low proportion of total water consumption, they have not been included. Going forward, the inventory system will continue to be extended to major overseas operating sites such as the U.S. and Canada.Note 2: To strengthen water resource management, statistics have been compiled based on water consumption readings recorded on water utility payment notices since 2021. Additionally, the externally verified water consumption at the Taiwan Zhonghe headquarters was 11.1770 ML, a decrease of 8.99% compared to 12.28 ML in 2024, indicating that water conservation measures have proven effective. We will continue to communicate with the building management committee to promote relevant water conservation improvement measures.
